Plastbau is the registered international trademark that identifies the products of Plastedil’s technology (international patents).
Plastedil’s technology is based on the continuous moulding of EPS (expanded polystyrene) shapes and permits to obtain a wide range of innovative, top-quality products.
These may be solid or hollow-cored, may have longitudinal cavities and double variability of the section height. Metallic reinforcements can be easily inserted in EPS during the moulding cycle, thus reaching formerly unachieved performances.
In order to meet the market demand, Plastedil has developed, under the name Plastbau-3, a series of forms for the casting of concrete (insulated concrete forms – ICF’s). These forms are pre-reinforced, stay-in-place and heat-insulating.
